The three bedroom unit met all our expectations in terms of location, amenities and cleanliness. The staff members were friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu is a bargain, the selection is not "massive", but it will give you a good start to your day. The location is AAA+ and you are within walking distance of all the major attractions in Hermanus. The apartment is located less than 300m from the ocean side promenade and there are a lot of activities in the area including golf, paddle, tennis, trail walking, mountain biking, wine tasting and kayaking to name but a few.

Fantastic location, very convenient to be so close to shops, restaurants and the beautiful waterfront area. Friendly and helpful staff. Stunning view from the apartment, it exceeded my expectations. Spacious and comfortable.

Spacious and well appointed apartment. It felt strange to be in a shopping mall, especially in the evenings when the shops were closed! Ideal situation, easy walking to restaurants, bars and the sea. Loved the idea of a fully serviced, self catering apartment. The view from the bedroom window in the mornings was spectacular! The staff were very polite and accommodating.

From the moment we arrived at the Whale Coast All-Suite Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The suite itself was modern, spacious, and immaculately clean. The attention to detail—from the comfortable beds and quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and stylish decor—was impressive. It truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. One of the highlights was the central location—perfectly situated close to shops, restaurants, and Hermanus’s iconic coastal paths. We especially loved how easy it was to explore the town and return to the peaceful comfort of the hotel. The team at DCC Hotel Group has created a world-class experience with this property. Every interaction with staff felt personal and warm. They were always available to assist with anything, whether it was restaurant recommendations or local insights. Highly recommended—we’re already planning our return!

Great accommodation so close to walker bay! Paul and Marius super helpful, outstanding service. Felt very safe in the neighbourhood, checkers is downstairs to buy food supplies and a liquor shop. The accommodation overlooks the shopping mall, so very convenient. 5 mins for watching the whales and the tourist shops and boutiques, as well as restaurants. Parking in the basement very secure. Outstanding stay and made our trip to Hermanus very special, thank you especially to Paul for his helpful service.

The location is prime, situated in the city center of Hermanus, close to all amenities and restaurants. The fact that it's situated within a little mall is perfect for self catering. The restaurant was clean and menu was good.

A great place to stay; walking distance from most of the highlighs, numerous art galaries, wonderful restaurants. A 5 minute walk from the beautiful cliff path taking you to pools to swim and stunning beaches. Very helpful staff, safe free parking. The self catering apartments are spacious and includes a very nice outside area to sit. During the busy holiday season it was very relaxing that you could enjoy all the lovely things this town offers without having to drive and search for parking.

The location was super convenient — every restaurant we visited was just a short walk away, which meant no need for Ubers after a few glasses of wine! The beds were incredibly comfy, the space was clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely book this place again and wished we stayed another night!

This was one of the few options available for last minute booking in the Hermanus area that could accommodate our family group. I was concerned that it would lack ambience since it is situated above a mall. We all loved being so close to our favorite stores. Checkers, Truworths and Clicks downstairs, and Woolies across the road. Perfect!!! Breakfast was basic but we enjoyed the eggs, muffins and croissants. Kids loved the french toast.

Very conveniently located in a shopping centre so you can pop down to buy anything you need. The facilities were great and the views were lovely. Nice big smart TV with Netflix. Quite a small hotel so not noisy.
